Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of MakeSignature.app (the “Website”) and Signature Generator: Esign (the “App”), together called the “Services”. The Services are provided by Alessandro Pace (“I”, “me”, “we”, “our”, or “us”).

By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Description of the Services

The Website and App are utilities for creating signature images. Depending on the service and device, you can type a name, draw a signature, scan a signature from paper, edit it, organize it, and export it as an image.

3. Signature Images, Not Legal or Digital Signatures

The signatures created by the Services are images. They are not cryptographic or qualified digital signatures. The Services do not verify identity, establish a digital certificate, or guarantee the legal validity, enforceability, or acceptance of any signature.

Electronic-signature laws vary by country, state, document, and use case. You are responsible for determining whether a signature image is appropriate and legally sufficient for your purpose and for obtaining professional advice when needed.

4. Acceptable Use and Your Responsibilities

You agree to use the Services only for lawful purposes and only with signatures you are authorized to create or use. You must not use the Services to forge, counterfeit, or misuse another person’s signature, or to commit fraud, deception, or any unlawful act.

You are solely responsible for the signatures you create and how you use, store, and share them.

5. License to Use

Subject to compliance with these Terms, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Services. Their design, code, branding, and content remain our intellectual property.

6. Intellectual Property and Third-Party Materials

The Services include licensed fonts and other third-party materials used according to their licenses. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from the Services except as permitted by applicable law.

7. App Purchases

The App offers optional in-app purchases and/or subscriptions. Purchases are processed through Apple’s App Store, Apple’s terms govern billing and refunds, and entitlements are validated using RevenueCat. You can restore eligible purchases in the App and manage subscriptions through App Store settings.

8. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how the Services handle information and forms part of these Terms.

9. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to interfere with the Services, their features, security, or payment systems; use them for fraudulent or deceptive purposes; attempt unauthorized access; or use automated methods that place an unreasonable burden on the Website.

10. Third-Party Services

The Services may link to or use third parties such as Apple’s App Store, StoreKit, and RevenueCat. Their terms and policies apply to your use of those services.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that a generated signature will be legally valid or accepted.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of data or profits, arising from use of or inability to use the Services.

13. Changes to the Services or Terms

We may modify the Services or these Terms. Updated Terms take effect when posted. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Termination

You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or misuse the Services.
